- June 6 Depart Washington Dulles for Paris
- June 7 Arrive in Paris and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Meet your tour guide at 6pm. Overnight Pullman Paris Montparnasse
- June 8 This morning, take a guided city tour of Paris, with a drive along the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. View the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and the lively Latin Quarter. In the afternoon, tour the Palace of Versailles built in 1631 and the Gardens where you will see classical French architecture at its most decadent. Overnight Pullman Paris Montparnasse
- June 9 This morning, depart for Normandy. On the way. stop in Giverney and visit the home of Claude Monet. Explore the gardens that inspired so much of Monet's paintings. Afterwards, stop in the town of Honfleur with its colorful harbor. Here you have time to explore on our own. Next, view the Bayeau Tapestry, woven to commemorate the 1066 invasion of England. - June 10 Spend the full day in Normandy exploring the famous sites. Visit St Mere Eglise on the Contentin Peninsula, where the D Day invasion began. Visit Utah Beach, make a stop at the Ranger Memorial at Pointe du Hoc. Continue to Omaha Beach (weather permitting) and the site of the American Cemetary, covering 172.5 acres and the resting place of 9,387 American soldiers. - June 11 Today head to the iconic Mont St Michel, rising from the sea on a mighty rock. Cross the causeway by shuttle to browse the narrow streets and admire the views of the bay and the 10th century abbey. Later continue to the Loire Vally and a group dinner. - June 12 Spend the day in the Loire Valley. Travel to the Chateau de Chenonceau, built in the 1500's, stretching across the river Cher and explore the extravagant rooms and gardens. After, visit the Royal Chateau d'Amboise (1100's) for a guided tour. Leonardo da Vinci is buried in Chapel. Next, a much earned wine tasting before returning to the hotel. - June 13 Travel to the Chateau de Chambord, the largest residence in the Loire Valley. Chambord was built in the 1500's. After a photo stop, continue with a visit to Chartres, home to the greatest Gothic cathedral in France (1194) with its world-renowned collection of stained glass windows. Next return to Paris for an afternoon at leisure. Tonight gather for a group dinner at a french bistro. Overnight Pullman Paris Montparnasse
- June 14 Transfer to the airport for our flight home.
