Hi! My name is Lani Ragan and I’ve had the ‘travel bug’ since I was young, when I traveled with my family. Now, I get to pick the destinations I visit and plan vacations for my clients! I thoroughly enjoy arranging all travel components together, which ends in a fabulous travel experience. I have a passion for adventure and outdoors travel. Think…. hiking the Alps, snorkeling in the Galapagos Islands, soaring above the Serengeti and elephants in a hot air balloon, and trekking in Rwanda to find Mountain Gorillas. One of my favorite destinations is Africa. Travel to Africa provides a unique experience in so many facets. The people of Africa are endearing, and you are likely to become friends for life with your guide. Accommodations range from 5 star lodges where you may have a personal butler; to ensuite tents in the Serengeti, where you’ll fall to sleep listening to hyena howl and elephants trumpet. Truly an amazing experience of a lifetime. Going on safari is priceless and the sights you will see are awe inspiring, out of a National Geographic travel book. There are many countries to visit on the African continent and each has its own adventures to experience. I’ve been on 8 safaris and am eager to plan safaris for clients. I have also spent a lot of time in South America and have grown to love the continent. Each country offers a plethora of interesting culture, various sights, and fabulous food. Galapagos is a trip of a lifetime, to be able to swim with sea turtles, walk on lava islands and see the famous blue footed boobies. Machu Picchu, in Peru, is breathtaking. What gets me excited about working with clients is to find the perfect trip for them, putting all aspects of the trip ‘puzzle’ together to ensure a smooth, seamless journey.
